[UNI Lore]- Surnara,the lone huntress

We keep saying to ourselves that the Universe is a big place. On one side cause it's true,and on the other side to console all of us that even a creature like a UNI could feel small once a time.

And when a creature reach the size of a big planet,the feeling of being small in the limitless void of the cosmos could grow bigger and bigger. It seems strange,but it was that feeling that made Surnara what she is now.

Files about her past are vague,but the ones we have are clear enough to describe her.

Surnara,whose name is to be thought as acquired,was a Nightbringer class UNI (also known as Destroyers. The GATE keeps giving cool names to everything) who served as deterrent in the Eleest Sector,one of the most industrialized system in the Corona Nebula. It was during the destruction of a planet that she realized she wanted to be something more. Or something less. It depends from the perspective.

The Destroyer life seemed monotonous to her,and observing planets from the higher orbit wasn’t that exciting. Well,it could be the first hundreds times,but when you do the same job for thousands and thousands of years,it could become boring,even with the amount of power a Destroyer has.

During that event,she tried something new. Just right before smashing the 7^th planet of the star system between her hands,she shrunk herself,and started to walk on the abandoned planet. There she could admire all of the structures,all of the tiny buildings,all of the streets,spaceports,forests,mountains and oceans she only observed from the long distance.

Surnara fell in love with the panoramas she saw. The binary stars that lit the surface with their multiple lights,illuminating the entire place with a pale pink light. Skies that were painted with tones that went from the deep violet to the deepest of the blues,while the heavy water seas,with its waves,kept creating ripples that sparkled of a shiny white,reflecting the light like a mirror does.

And all of this,while she was standing over a city made of pointy,silvery and gothic skyscrapers,that stand tall over a sand that looked like gold dust to Surnara’s eyes.

And when contemplating the majesty of the place,along with the craters her fingertips left on the surface when she was Destroyer sized,she realized she didn’t want to destroy planets anymore. But instead,visit them,take care of them,and maybe,even rule then and the locals she would have met.

But stop being something you’ve always been for millennia is pretty hard,especially for a Destroyer : Surnara had to deal constantly with her addiction to destruction,but somehow that feeling turned off when she stood on that planet. And here only hypothesis are plausible.

There are three version of the history.

Version one : It’s all fault of her ‘parents’. Some info report Surnara to be the daughter of two Gen 0 UNIs. The only document we have reports the UNIs named ONA and XEN

Version two : For some unkown reasons,she's not bonded with the Empress. This hypotesis is too complex to be explained in this file,so every info about it has to be researched into the file about ''The Void Vault''

From that moment,she keeps traveling in the far region of the Four Galaxies,visiting the most distant star systems,that still have to be reached from the UNI Empire.

Old reports say that in those systems,Surnara acts like a real goddess. Some races started worshipping her,while some others fight her. Is useless to say that the last ones are treated like toys in the hands of Surnara. A curious thing,is that Surnara tends to choose a favourite race,among the ones she meets.

Recents reports suggest that her size is higly variable,from hundreds of meters to several millions kilometers. The same reports suggest that Surnara could increase her size by assuming a high amount of energy ( in this case,the assumption of that amount of energy is connected to the devouring of a star).
This could explain the creepy nickname some reports give to her,that is 'The Devourer'
